Federal Privacy Laws: What They Mean for YouWhile the United States does not have a single comprehensive federal privacy law like GDPR, several federal laws protect specific types of information.
Federal Privacy Protections That May Apply:- FTC Act (Section 5): The Federal Trade Commission enforces against unfair or deceptive practices related to privacy and data security.
